This event will soft-launch the CLT + CASS Multimedia Education Studio – newly settled on level 4 of the Baldessin Building – where you’ll learn how this modular space can assist you in creating (or helping to create) education and other multimedia content at ANU.

This online Lunch Vox will feature educators and students sharing their experiences with blended learning at ANU, including a deep dive into the flipped classroom model in action. Audience members will have the opportunity to engage via polls and a Q&A.

Generative AI Workshop Day

Academic staff are invited to join us for an in-person event about generative AI, where we will hear from Professor Adam Bridgeman and Professor Danny Liu of the University of Sydney as they demystify generative AI and share how their institution uses two-lane assessment in practice.

Managing Classroom Discussions on Challenging Topics – ANU LunchVox (Hybrid)

This event brings together an expert panel which will present different perspectives on discussing challenging and sensitive topics in the classroom. The panel will explore classroom management, academic discourse and critical thinking, teaching academic support and wellbeing, and student wellbeing. Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) Geoff Hinchcliffe will give an introductory presentation.

Join CLT for a ‘first look’ webinar to explore Canvas, the new learning management system (LMS) at ANU. Discover some of its features and functions, and have an opportunity to ask questions as we prepare for the transition together.
